Zamboanga City , Philippines (The Redline News Philippines) – German
captive Juergen Gustav Kantner beheaded after the deadline lapsed earlier (February 27, 1017).
Abu Sayyaf demanded P30 million in ransom for the release of Kantner
earlier after they kidnap the victim last November.
Military and Police in Sulu received report showed
the bandit group led by its sub-leader Muamar Askali, alias Abu Rami said that Kantner
beheaded at about 3:30 p.m. in Barangay
Buanza, Indanan, Sulu.
Military immediately launched air strikes against the Abu Sayyaf in order to capture the Abussayaf and in order
to find the remains of the victims.
Also the Philippine
Air Force 3rd Air Division utilized MG520 attack helicopters and pounded about
40 to 60 Abu Sayyaf militants with rockets on the same day.
Spokesperson Capt. Jo-Ann Petinglay, for the Western
Mindanao Command said that Task Force
Sulu ground commander Col. Cirilito Sobejana confirmed that the air strikes
