Zamboanga police Recovered floating cadaver in Sacol Island

Zamboanga City (The Redline News Philippines) - An unidentified male person was found floating on the high seas of Barangay Busay, Sacol Island, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 o’clock in the morning of February 26, 2017 police said.

Police said the cadaver was on a state of decomposition and wearing green shirt, brown short, hog tied with toilet bowl tied around his body as a sinker and face wrapped with a packing tape, age ranging from 20-30 years old and with estimated height more or less 5’2’’ to 5’4’’.

Police initial investigation conducted that, Mr. Ombeng Kapenter saw the victim floating on the above-mentioned ocean, while he was on his way home to Barangay Manicahan onboard on his motorized boat.

Accordingly, the victim is believed to be victim of summary execution by unidentified persons and thrown to the sea,  tie with the toilet bowl as a sinker, police added.   

Meanwhile in separate incidents there was reported an  alleged abduction incident took place along the street of Thomas Claudio St, Zamboanga City at about 6:00 PM of February 25, 2017 police added.

The victim was identified as Benazar Bulusan Sirajani, 19 years old, male, single of Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.

Accordingly, the victim was walking along the street of Thomas Claudio St, Zamboanga City when a group of male person allegedly took him and boarded him to a four wheeled vehicle sedan type black color.

According to the suspect  while he was on board the vehicle he lost consciousness then when he woke up, the said persons dropped him at the street of Barangay Sinubong, Zamboanga City he said.

Based on the investigation conducted by Zamboanga City Police Station and according to the victim, while walking at said street a male person who was then standing on the bushes called his attention that allegedly there was something strange in the bushes at said vacant lot which the complainant complied to verify, that upon approach said male person placed a folded handkerchief covering his nose and mouth which caused the complainant to lose his consciousness then allegedly boarded him on a said vehicle, further the investigator on case verified for possible presence of CCTV camera but to no avail police reiterated.

 Moreover, the investigator on case is still conducting investigation for the possible identification and whereabouts of the suspect/s.(posted by Becky D. de Asis-The Redline News Philippines)
