PCG base, pier and radar station build in Sibutu - Multi-Million project of the Government

Lt. Efhraim Jayson Diciano instructed the working PCG engineers during the relocation of 5 hectares of land used for the construction of  PCG Base and pier. 
Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi (July 02, 2017) – The municipal government of Sibutu under mayor Hadji Al-Shefa Pajiji assured  to the Philippine Coast Guard headed by Lt. Efraim Jayson Diciano, PCG  of  their supports for the construction of Coast Guard Sibutu base and pier  and the creation of CG-sub-station and activation of CG-mobile team .

The said projects  is coming from the national government allocation as part of Duterte’s Build, Build, Build programs in order to alleviate the poverty conditions  and the environmental protections  within the sea waters  of the country.

Pajiji said,   the  multi-million  projects of the government were being supported by the locals because they are one who  benefited . “We must supports this projects because this  is  the  time that Sibutu will improve and develop by attracting more  investors to invests and put up businesses and creating  employment  here ”, Pajiji said last week.

The municipal government donated 5 hectares more or less of land as counterpart for  the said projects.

Mayor told the Coast Guard who visited the area site, that he never hesitate to help them and facilitate the working Coast Guard because he was thankful about  the flagship project of the government where build in Sibutu. 

The said construction allocated  P500-Million pesos more or less including hospitals and other facilities.The project will started  before the year  end .

Meanwhile, PCG  Euphraim Jayson Diciano said  this projects  is strategically  protected  the people  against the bad elements and  to respond immediately the growing reported incidents of piracy, armed robbery, kidnapping and other terroristic activities under the vicinity of Sibutu passage and other adjacent island municipality of the said  province.

Lt. Diciano added that the national government through the Philippine Coast Guard under Commodore  Joel S. Garcia, PCG, PhD, PCG,H.D, Alhaj   put up  this projects in  order to respond immediately during calamities and other untoward incidents along sea water of Tawi-Tawi and nearby areas of the province.

“I am very optimistic, that this projects will finish very soon just because the national and local governments are very cooperative and supportive  for this project”, Diciano said.(By: Becky D. de Asis/Redline News)
