Cockfighting and Hantak still proliferating in Libungan

Cotabato City -  President Rodrigo Duterte ordered recently to arrest all illegal gambling throughout the country and urged  the people to not engage of any illegal gambling that may sort of their arrests and imprisonment.

The President cited the popular illegal gambling like; Jueting, Hantak, Cockfighting, online games and other illegal gambling  that may caused poverty increased in the country.

Aside the campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte against illegal gambling in the country, there are some existing illegal gambling in the municipality of Libungan,  North Cotabato such as cockfighting and hantak that are still proliferating  in Sitio Cue, Cabaruyan of the said Municipality.

The said illegal gambling according to alleged operator that this is for  Patronal Fiesta operation, but the President Duterte did not mention any exemptions  nor occasions  or  activities that this Executive Order  may gave favor to anybody.

The PNP and barangays officials should be responsible about this issue and they should arrests violators and gave teeth the said campaign of the President.  ( By: Becky D. de Asis- The Redline News Blogs)
