PRO 10 Regional Director, PCSupt Agripino G Javier spearhead the 26th PNP
Foundation Day with Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar S Moreno as the Guest of
Honor and Speaker at RHQ Grandstand, Camp Vicente G Alagar, Cagayan de Oro City
today.
Police Regional Office 10 leadership commemorate the PNP day today of 26 years of truly serving the Filipino people
here.
RPCR said that after the people’s revolution in 1986, a new
constitution was promulgated providing for a police force, which is “national
in scope and civilian in character.”
The PNP inaugurates its founding anniversary after the effectivity of
R.A. 6975 entitled, “An act establishing the Philippine National Police under a
reorganized department of the interior and local government in January
1991.
RPCR further said that strengthen the PNP into a highly efficient
and competent police force, RA 8551 entitled “PNP reform and the reorganization
act of 1998” was enacted.
The PNP shall be a community and service oriented agency and responsible for the maintenance of peace
and order and public safety.
Accordingly, the PNPs initiatives in line with the integrated
transformation program to resolve organizational dysfunctions, improve the
quality of police services, strengthen law enforcement capabilities and enhance
the welfare and benefits of its personnel and dependents.
This 2017, under the leadership of PDG RONALD DELA ROSA, Police
Regional Office 10 will continue to take the big leap on administration,
transformation and operations, for the police organization to be better
prepared, more equipped and more confident in addressing the peace and order
issues in the country.
PNP PRO 10 extends its gratitude to the continuous support of the
President Duterte, all stakeholders, and the public who have been supporting
the law enforcement campaigns of the . PNP PRO 10 is hopeful that this strong
partnership and cooperation will continue to foster good relationships to
