Cotabato City - The Regional Legislative Assembly's Public Works committee meeting last November 23, 201. The DPWH National Under - secretary for Unified Project Management Office (UPMO), Emil Sadain and ARMM-DPWH secretary Don Mustapha Loong discusses possible ODA interventions in ARMM, aside from those existing in the pipeline, worth several billions.
A deeply committed Moro at heart, Usec Sadain has included in the
national pipeline major national connectivity roads, vital for Bangsamoro Development,
now under technical study.
Usec Sadain has proposed ODA for Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur as well
as Basilan and Tawi Tawi already in the pipeline.
The widening and expansion of the Sulu Circumferential Road and Sulu
Transcentral Roads could be included following that of Basilan and Lanao del
Sur's Circumferential Roads according to Secretary Loong.
As recommended by the UPMO, ARMM-DPWH is set bid out the conduct Feasibility Study in support of these big ticket projects of the Autonomous Region.
