Mayor Al-Shefa Pajiji supports the Multi-Million projects of PCG Base and pier projects in Sibutu

Sibutu, Tawi-Tawi Mayor Hji Al-Shefa Pajiji with the Philippine Coast Guard headed by Lt. Euphraim Jayson Diciano conducted relocation survey along the vicinity of  timberland area of Sibutu wherein the  Multi-Million PCG Base and pier projects build here soon.

Mayor Pajiji with the other officials headed  the group  for the relocation of 5 hectares land was  donated by some good residents in the said municipality. 

The mayor together with  the group of engineers  personally headed the group to  relocate and  recover  the boundaries and other landmarks of said land donations.

Mr, Hassan, one of the five (5)  donee of the land said . “I donate the portion of land just to give  PCG to implement their projects because this is for us, for the Sibutu people. we can sleep well, and fell safe if we have a PCG base built here”, said Mr Hassan.

The donee added that he is willing to added another piece of land  if the PCG needs the expansion. “Kung  gusto ni Sir Diciano na dagdagan ko ang area, ok sa akin dahil makabubuti naman ito  sa aming pamilya at sa lahat na taga rito”, the old man told the reporter.

Meanwhile, Mayor Pajiji also said, the municipal government of Sibutu are fully supportive  the endeavor of the Philippine Coastguard to help the 30,000 population  more or less here in Sibutu.

The mayor  knows that this projects is one of the flagship project programs of the government in order to uplift the living conditions of the people, not only in Sibutu but throughout the country as weill , said the mayor."we should be optimistic to realized this project soon", said the mayor.

Therefore, Lt. Diciano also said, the Philippine Coastguard will continue to help the people as will as those wherein the island or far-flung municipalities  within  his area of responsiblity.   

Because the PCG want to protect the  people against the bad elements like sea pirates, kidnapping, holdapping, terrorism and other terroristic activities that affects the living condition of the people here, said Diciano. (By: Becky D. de Asis-The Redline News)
