Manila - The Department of Public Works and Highways of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DPWH-ARMM) headed by Secretary Mustapha "Don" Loong together with his District Engineers coming from different provinces of the region give progress updates with technical consultants and development partners like Woodfields Engineers assist Japan Embassy Officials, EOIL Consultants and Drone together with Lidar Entrepreneur yesterday.
The 9-hour meeting/updates of DPWH-ARMM to Japan Officials focused on
the finalization of the designs of Jolo, Tigbao - Latih water system, municipal
water system of Indanan and Parang, Maimbung, Patikul, Talipao water systems and Luuk water expansion
project.
The ARMM Engineers together with District Engineer Abdulmunir I.
Hadjirul and other districts engineers also explained and update visitors
about the feasibilities studies on the widening of Sulu Circumferential road project
while District Engineer Soler
Undug explained also and give updates about his trans- central
roads project in Basilan and also Tawi-Tawi, Lanao Sur and Maguindanao they are presented and update also their projects to Japan Officials and visitors.
The projects in Lanao Sur included were: 2nd lake unayan water system developement
study and design for Butig, Lumbaca Unayan, Lumbatan, Bayang, Marogong,
Lumbayanague and Tubaran using the Malaig river and springs and Malabang sedimentation and flooding problem study for infra
intervention.
The 2B polloc masterplan and expansion study in Maguindanao, the Roads Inventory Projects,the ARMM Infra Masterplan 2016 to 2022, the DPWH ARMM On the road Android application for management, monitoring and public transparency, the ARMM Infra Documentation system, the Water drilling equipment and water desalination equipment grant application and the utilisation of advanced lidar technology in drones for infra
monitoring also updated and the triple technology transparency tools of ARMM dpwh in using geo
tagging, roadshoot and drones in project documentation and monitoring, said
