| Children's of war received gift from Gov. Mujiv Hataman during Peace and Love Festival in Sumisip yesterday |
Basilan - ARMM Governor Mujiv Hataman joined the 1,500 Children's of War and gave them gifts
during the "Children of War, A Festival of Peace and Love" in Brgy
Buli-Buli, Sumisip, Basilan yesterday, October 4,2018
Some male children’s surrendered their "toy guns" to
Governor Hataman in exchange them a bag, school supplies, slippers and
bikes.
While other childrens had no toy
guns they received also an school bags, slippers, hygiene kits, toys,
books coming from military, Local
Government unit of Sumisip and other private partners to help the programs
successful.

DPWH Basilan also give their supports to the program of
Governor Hataman and they provided food
packs for the said festival.
"We should invest for our children's future now", Hataman
said during the festival.
These Children's of War are
children of former ASG fighters and family survivors of armed conflict in
