8 hurts after grenade blasts inside Talayan Mosque last Friday

Cotabato City (The Redline News Philippines) -  A grenade blast  inside the mosque of  Talayan municipality  that injured 8 persons including the defeated aspirant governor of Maguindanao  including his son last Friday.

Kagui Ali Midtimbang, 62 and his 33 years old son, Mayor Nathaniel Midtimbang of Datu Anggal town  was injured with 6 others after attending their obligatory rite, a  Friday prayer when the unidentified men riding motorcycles hurled grenades inside the mosque in Talayan Municipality.

Senior Superintendent Agustin Tello, Director of  Maguindanao Provincial Police Office  said, the suspect escaped using their mortorcycles to unknown direction.  

“We will conduct a massive investigation about the incident for an immediate arrests of the suspects”, said the police.

Meanwhile, the victims were rushed immediately to Cotabato Notre Dame Hospital by responding policemen and military while Kagui Ali Midtimbang and son were airlifted  to Davao City by Philippine Air force for proper medication. (Posted by Becky D. de Asis-The Redline News Philippines)
