Bongao, Tawi-Tawi – Police Senior Superintendent Jerich Tan Royales
confirmed today regarding the 16ft salt water crocodile known as Crocodylus Porosus or also known as
the Estuarine Crocodile captured by residents in Sokah Bulan, Simunul of the said province here.
The salt water crocodile ,the largest of all living reptiles, as well as the largest riparian predator in the world just like in Simunul crocodile captured earlier.

The said Crocodylus Porosus ( Buwaya or crocodile ) was seen by residents here swimming along the sea shore of the said barangay last Friday.
This is the next largest reptile from Lolong was captured in Bunawan creek in the province of Agusan del Sur last September 03, 2011 measured.17 m (20 ft 3 in), and weighed 1,075 kg (2,370 lb) the world's largest crocodile in captivity according to Guinness World Record but unfortunately Lolong was died last February 10, 2013 caused of Pneumonia.
