More construction projects of DEO Tawi-Tawi implemented – ADE Martin Maing

Bongao, Tawi –Tawi – The District Engineering Office of Tawi-Tawi under District Engineer Tony Kamlani has more projects implemented since he assumed  of office earlier.

The  flagship projects here of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao through the  Department of Public Works and Highways was the Multi-Million circumferential roads projects connecting the enter-island of Panglima Sugala down to Languyan municipality passing Sapa-Sapa to Tandubas and other island municipalities of the said province.


ARMM DPWH  Secretary Mustapha “Don” Loong said earlier, that this circumferential roads  project of the Autonomous Region  in Muslim Mindanao under Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman was the answer of the long time problem of some island municipalities here by transporting their goods down to Bongao, the business center of the province. “If this circumferential roads will finish and totally implemented,  the travel time from different island municipalities is abruptly reduce more than a half of time travelled  by boat or Lanza from their  origin to Bongao island”, said Loong.

Aside the circumferential roads, there were more  projects coming from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao implemented  through  the Department of Public Works and Highways under Secretary Mustapha Don Loong , the roads constructions  projects in Tandubas Municipality like : Construction of Lungus, Matata – Buton roads with the amount of P21,340.000.00; Construction of LungusMatata roads – Silongan roads with the amount of P21,340,000.00; Construction of Danglog – Sibaloon road with the amount also of P10,670,000.00 and Construction of Sapa- Sibakloon road amounting to P10, 670,000.00.
               
Engineer Martin Maing , Assistant Distict Engineer of DEO Tawi-Tawi said,  they have  implemented the water system projects  with the amount of P14,550,000.00.


Maing added, the ongoing sea port construction in Lahay-Lahay Fish landing port in Tandubas with the amount of P4,850,000.00; the Baliongan fish landing port amounting to P4,850,000.00;  the on going construction of Himbak fish landing port with bridges with the amount of P4, 850,000.00.

ADE Maing  said, the DPWH completed  the construction projects  in  Silontop concrete foot bridge with the amount of P4,850,000.00 while  in Tango with the  amount also of  P 4,850,000.00 of concrete foot bridge. 

The said Tandubas project construction  are coming from the 2016 regular infra, said Maing.

Assistant District Engineer Martin Maing also added, the Languyan municipality has more projects implemented. 

The Concreting of Bas nunuk road with the amount of P5,432,000.00; concreting of Panimusan road with the amount of P5, 432,000.00 and the on-going  construction of Darussalam new hospital road in the amount of P9,506,000.00.

They have  on –going  water system constructions  in  Paraitan – Darussalam water system level  II with the amount also of P4,850,000.00; the Seratang –Darussalam water system with the same amount of P4,850,000.00 and Maraning water system amounting to P4,850,000.00.

Maing added, the ongoing  port expansion projects  in Languyan with the amount of P9,700,000.00; and  the on going construction of bridges with the amount of P4, 947,000.00 pesos in Tubig Dakula and while the  on-going construction in Sitio Subah Mamah with the amount of P4,947,000.00.

Meanwhile District Engineer Tony Kamlani also added, that they have more projects in different municipalities implemented and was turned over.

 “It is a big help to the people  here of Tawi-Tawi  province that the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao government focuses  on constructions projects that would help the poor among the poorest people and to boost the economic conditions  of the province” said  Kamlani.
