Bongao, Tawi-Tawi - Kamahardikaan festival in Languyan town is one of the grandest festival
celebration in Bansangmoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao today.
This Sinama word "Kamahardikaan" it means" highest honor" commemorating the founding anniversary of Languyan and even the Tawi-Tawi province.
The 4-day celebration showcases their rich culture through dances,
songs, live music, fashions, fluvial parade and among others.
Municipal Information Officer Pershing Taiyab said that they were
already prepared and ready for the grand opening this coming September 10, 2018
"Pagsampang sin Tahun Bahgo" it means "welcome night". also
among the highly anticipated night with their elegant and prestigious and
fashionable dresses will be the
highlights of the said night event.
Taiyab added that visitors expect their grandest event this year celebrations: September 11, 2018, they have "sports parade/opening of the games and
"talent presentation Budjang Languyan"; September 12, 2018 "
Tawi-Tawi 2nd Lepa Festival andNight with the stars; September 13, 2018 "
Grand cultural parade/Maligay and Dulang Festival; September 14, 2018
"State of the Municipal Address (SOMA)/Budjang Languyan coronation 2018/ Gagandilan Day and
