ZAMBOANGA CITY - There were 5 persons including minors was brutally hacked to death
by Habal - Habal driver last April 14 at Barangay Pulang Lupa, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del
Norte, said police.
Police identified the victims were; Saidemar Wahid Callion, 11 years old,
Nasser Halis Pablo, 7 years old, Mohammad Said Mocaddam Bra, 7 years old,
Hadimar Halis Pablo, 7 years old and Majid Jalis, 35 years old.
The victims were hacked to death by the suspect identified as Asgal
Ontong Kalas, Habal - Habal driver and residents of Barangay Libucon, Sirawai,
Zamboanga del Norte.
Immediately , the police officials of Sirawai with Zamboanga Del Norte
Provincial Mobile force Company, 905th Regional Mobile Force Battalion and the
42nd Infantry Battalion of Philippine
Army apprehended
the suspect near the crime scene with his bladed weapon.
However, the suspect was fired to death by police personnel after he
forcibly escaped at Sirawai police station a day after he captured by the
