MANILA—A trough of a low pressure area (LPA) affecting the
eastern section of Mindanao and the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with
isolated rain showers in some parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric,
Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday.
In its 24-hour weather report, the state weather bureau said
Mindanao will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the
trough of an LPA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also be partly
cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized
thunderstorms.
Temperatures will sizzle as expected since it is the onset
of the dry season. For Monday, the highest temperature is expected in
Tuguegarao City at 37 degrees Celsius and Metro Manila, with a high of 34
degrees Celsius. Metro Cebu will have a high of 32 degrees Celsius and Metro
Davao, with 28 degrees Celsius. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
