City - at about 2:10 PM of September 30, 2016 elements
of Sergio Osmeña Municipal Police Station in coordination with Zamboanga Norte
PDEA conducted “buy bust” operation at Sitio Mamara, Barangay Venus, Sergio
Osmena, Zamboanga Del Norte that resulted to the arrest of Roger Ogis Viernes,
51 years old, married, a resident of the above mentioned place.
The said suspect is listed in the new recommended
BADAC watch listed personalities on Illegal Drugs. During the said operation, the operating team
was able to recovered from his possession and control the following items, to
wit: a. (1) piece small transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline
granules believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride known as ‘’shabu’’ as buy
bust drug. (2) piece/s small transparent plastic sachet containing crystalline
granule believed to be shabu in his possession and control; c. four (4) pieces
rolled aluminum foild. one (1) pack of Marvel cigarette with three stick
inside; and e. (1) piece 500 peso bill
as marked money with serial number DC661485.
The inventory was conducted in the presence of
Barangay Councilor Jimmy Villanueva Paundog of Barangay Venus and Miss Zorayda
Eva Lim Mustaril – Media.
The suspect is now detained at Sergio Osmena MPS
and appropriate charges in court.
