Philippine Army in partnership with PNP Nunungan, Municipal Health Office (MHO)
and the LGU of Nunungan headed by Mayor Marcus
A Mamay conducted “Free Operation
Tuli” and free Haircut Services in Brgy Masibay, Nunungan last May 04, 2017.
The activity aims to foster confidence among the LGU,
military and the residents to pursue a common goal in supporting the
implementation of the government’s program in the delivery of basic services to
the barangays specifically in the far-flung areas.
The activity was successfully conducted which resulted to seventy
six (76) children from the Brgy Masibay and other nearby barangays were
benefited of Operation Tuli and fifty four (54) local residents benefited of
free haircut services.
On the other hand, as the activity is ongoing, this unit
conducted Pulong-pulong to the Barangay Officials and local residents of said
barangay regarding the current peace and security situation in the area; the
importance of circumcision operation as part of the adulthood period of a
child; the continuing supports of this unit with regards to the law enforcement
operation in support to the anti-illegal drug campaign and anti-illegal logging
campaign of the government.
This activity also provides information to the local
populace and the LGU that the military and PNP as the catalyst of peace and
development in partnership with the government agencies.
In general, the activity was successfully conducted through
the collaborative effort and active participation of the PNP, MLGU and MHU of
Nunungan, LDN especially the personnel of this unit who gave their untiring
support. The parents and brgy officials were very thankful and much appreciated
to the basic services that being brought by the Military with the support of
