Koronadal City attempted to break the Guinness World Records - 3,336 motor riders runs along the national highway

Koronadal City (The Redline News Philippines ) - The Koronadal government under Mayor Peter Miguel hosted the  first Motorcycle festival during 23rd Annual convention of National Federation of Motorcycle clubs that covered  3,336 motorcycle riders coming from different provinces and cities nationwide last April 29, 2017 in order to break the Guiness World of Record.

City Mayor Peter Miguel said that the city government attempted  this day, a " historic day"  for the city and great achievement for the people of Koronadal. said the mayor. "I hope this day, will be the day for a great record to Guiness World book, for Koronadal City", said the mayor.

A kilometers stretch of the main highway, the world record attempt for the most engines started and horns sounded simultaneously for 20 seconds were Mayor Miguel taking cues. “Motorcycles riders  offer great opportunities to the tourism industry as what we have seen here, said  the mayor.

The Tourism 12 director Nelly Dellera also added that  the riders did long trips and got to enjoy the view and customized to  stop and set up along the way and looking friendly people and eating fresh fruits while on the road,she added.
