CALBIGA, Samar, Philippines (The Redline News) –The
87th Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Division of Philippine Army under Lt. Col. Arnel A. Floresca conducted “ Barangayan People’s Peace and Development Caravan” last July 05 at Barangay San Mauricio, Calbiga, Samar.
The said activity aims to bring the basic social services from the government closer to the people especially
to those far-flung barangay’s of the municipality.
The troops of 87th Infantry Battalion conducting also the Community Support Program (CSP) were able
to identify the issues and concerns of Brgy Canbagtic and San Maurico more
particular the peace and order
situations and other concern issues of the said barangays.
The said battalion calling also
the attention of concerned agencies and
other stakeholders that may helps to
address the problems of stakeholders, military said.
Therefore, the military
conducted this barangayan as
one-stop shop of services from the different government agencies in order to
gave an immediate actions to the constituents of Samar, said military.
Floresca said, the highlight of
the activity was the open forum which was the perfect venue for the public to
speak out their issues in order to addressed
directly ton those concern agencies present during the said
activity, said Floresca.
There are 351 residents from the barangays of San Maurico, Canbagtic,
Literon, Binangaran, Otoc, and Bulao benefited the said activity were also the
medical, dental and free haircut was also delivered, said military.
The 87th Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army
shall never fail to contributes any development
and preservation of peace and
