MOSCOW,
July 30 -- The United Kingdom condemns the recent ballistic test carried out by
North Korea in violation of the UN Security Council's (UNSC) resolutions, UK
Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said in a statement.
On
Friday, North Korea conducted the second ICBM test in less than a month.
"The
UK strongly condemns North Korea’s second test of an intercontinental ballistic
missile and calls on the regime to immediately stop all activity that breaches
UN Security Council resolutions," Johnson said in a Saturday statement
published by the UK governmental press service.
The
secretary added that London would continue cooperation with its partners in
tackling threats posed by Pyongyang.
In
recent months, Pyongyang has carried out a number of missile and nuclear tests
in violation of the UNSC resolutions. North Korea's activities have been
criticized by a number of other countries, such as South Korea and the United
States. (Xinhua)
