Bongao, Tawi-Tawi (The Redline News) – Provincial Director Jerich Tan Royales of Tawi-Tawi
Provincial Police Office conducted several inspections to all Island Municipal Police Stations in order to insure the capability and supports
of his working policemen in the different
Island of the said province.
Recently, the director installed radio repeater in Bongao peak in order
to linkage Island Police Stations and to respond immediately in times of emergencies
and calamities without any signal interventions.
Royales said, the Oplan Taphang or Oplan Double barrel of his area of responsibilities was very
successful because they were arrested more or less 2,000 individuals, including
surrenderees since President Duterte ordered the war on drugs .
Although the Provincial Police Office of the province did not reached
the quota against drug violators, the
police here still conducted oplan double barrel in respond the anti-drugs campaign of the President Duterte last July
2016.
The province of Tawi-Tawi are almost drug free because of some residents and LGU's strictly supports the PNP implementations on anti-drugs campaign of their respective
area of responsibilities, said Royales.
Therefore, the Abussayaf and other bandits surrenders to the folds of
the law last week to the PNP-SAF in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi just
because of the massive information and dissemanations of police and civilians here against lawless elements of the said province.
