Bongao, Tawi-Tawi – The Tandubas Municipal Police Station headed by
Police Senior Inspector Almira A. Relox conducted several foot patrol of all barangays of the said
municipality in order to monitor any ASG or bad elements coming from the province of Sulu.
Police always monitored the entrance an exit of the island municipality to make sure the safety of the people here, said
Relox.
Aside from foot patrolling, the police also distributed some drug awareness paraphernalia's to different schools and barangay's to aware residents, students and even
teachers about the drugs abuses.
The police warned the people about the " war on drugs" and they were never hesitate to arrests the violators and file a case against
them.
Therefore, the Tandubas police
station arrested more or less 500 individuals involved in drugs
activities just recently.
Relox added, the Tandubas police station are always ready in times of calamities and other untoward incidents happened of their area of
