Consolacion - Police
Superintendent Mina Domingo asserted that the intensified campaign against
all forms of illegal activities will continue until its total eradication,
another "One Time, Big Time" operation, 4th in a row, was undertaken
by Consolacion Police here.
Police said, 14 suspects went down for drugs in a string of operations
led by DCOP, PSI Romeo Caacoy Jr, with
an estimated haul of 90 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP1,068,844.00.
Another 3 suspects were arrested
for illegal gambling and 2 were served warrants of arrest for Rape and for
Violation of RA 8282 or the Social Security Law.
In a development reports, member
of Consolacion Police heeding the provisions of Oplan Katok, surrendered his
Hi-Point .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol to the OIC for safekeeping while
registration has yet to be renewed.
Police added, Oplan Katok has a
total of 9 households were visited by police and gun owners were reminded to
immediately renew the necessary papers of their firearms.
Police added an appropriate charges will be filed against all the
arrested suspects including charges for Violation of RA 10591 or the
Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition for the 2 suspects arrested for
