The Provincial Police Office of Tawi-Tawi under P/SSuperintendent Jerich Tan
Royales told reporters regarding the martial law implementation in his jurisdiction.
“is still under control, still no violation and all constituents here are very
supportive about the declaration of Martial Law”, said Royales.
Royales said, The Martial Law of today has a big different
on Martial Law before during President
Marcos Regime. Because the Martial Law
before it has more violations like
: the suspensions of courts,
legals, and all government offices and even the people cannot pursue their
rights. Unlike today, all our rights and even court, legals
and other government offices can pursue our daily works as a normal workers and
persons, just because of the guidelines issued, " to respect the human rights of everybody" as per
advise by the President, he added.
Aside the proclaimation, our policemen here are ready to
pursuing their duty to protect the people.Royales and the property of the government, he added.
Police here continue to conduct the police visiblity and continue to conduct double barrel reloaded on anti-illegal drugs campaign which resulted the apprehension
of almost P1.8 Million pesos of methylamphetamine or shabu earlier.
It was a One Time, Big Time operation on anti-illegal drug campaign
in Tawi-Tawi .
The Tawi-Tawi PPO recorded more or less 3,000 drug
surrenderees since the President pursuing his war on drugs, (The Redline News)
